About Tom Mouat

• Major Tom Mouat MBE MSc ato psc sim has been a serving Officer with the British Army since 1979.
• He is a Graduate of the Army Staff College, Camberley; and has served in Britain, Cyprus, Germany, Iraq, Norway, The USA, Gibraltar, Malaysia, The Oman, Belize, the Falklands and Bosnia.
• He is currently the SO2 Directing Staff Simulation and Modelling at Technical Division of the Defence Academy of the UK.
  
• He has published articles and delivered lectures about simulations, military history and wargames for professional development, education and recreation since 1983.
• Subject to the exigencies of the Service, he is available as a consultant for any work in these related fields.

If you want me to make you a font

• Subject to the exigencies of the Service, I am available for font design and production. Send me an e-mail at the link below with the details and we can discuss it. I am an expert at producing graphical fonts, but not lettering - if you want a handwriting font, or some other type of lettering, you would should go somewhere else.
• As a rough guide a custom TrueType Font of up to 200 characters will probably cost you about 600 UK Pounds (1,000 US Dollars). I make the allowance for you to make up to 10% alterations, additions or corrections, for up to one year after delivery (I recognise that when you use the font in earnest, you can find you might want to make a few changes). Most TrueType fonts are Win3.1, but if you want a Win95 font (600 characters) I can do that as well.
• I can produce Macintosh, Postscript Type 1 and Type 3, Windows 3.1 (200 character) and Win95 (600 character) fonts. If you want to try out a Macintosh font, you should download the TTconverter application and try it out on one of my TrueType fonts to check its suitability.
