First, I would like to thank you for creating the "Star Wars" silhouette font. I run a Star Wars Miniatures Battles wargaming site and collect Star Wars type fonts for me and my friends to use for our games. I ran across your Star Wars font over the summer, but I've just now discovered your MapSymb site over the holidays.
Secondly, I've downloaded almost all your fonts now. I'm looking for some personal projects now to use them in. I've been writing up a Star Wars Miniatures Battles campaign and a Crusade era DBA campaign for the past couple of years and look forward to using some of the symbols for the maps.
Once again, thanks for the fonts.

Hi,
I have just completed testing a application program for NATO (BICC - Battlefield Intelligance Gathering System).
We are using APP-6A for units, but there also are Place, Events, Organizations and Targets. Do you know any source for fonts for these?

(The only fonts I know for places and events are the Homeland Security fonts - but here are a lot of them and they are a bit complicated to use). |

Great stuff. Worth pointing out for Mac users that a) in Mac OS X the Font Book application will import fonts into the correct place (no third party app needed) and b) the provided converter requires OS 9 or Classic.
The land-based symbols work fine, but the air & sea ones don't show. |
